Welcome to Yoga and… A 5 Part Series
When people ask about our approach to yoga I teach, I usually start with this:
Yoga is not the end goal.
It’s the “and.”
Yoga and recovery.
Yoga and strength.
Yoga and sleep, focus, mobility, parenting, healing, stress relief, confidence, joy.
Yoga and all the things that make up your real life.
That’s the heart of our work.
In this series, I’m sharing more about how I came to this approach—not just as a teacher, but as a person who discovered yoga through injury, came to rely on it after trauma, and eventually found the tools I needed to come home to myself.
You’ll read about my story, my philosophy, and the clients who have trusted me to walk with them through their own journeys. You’ll also get a better sense of what private yoga actually looks like—who it’s for, how it works, and why it might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
My hope is that this series shows you how yoga can be practical, supportive, and deeply personal. Not just something you do, but something that supports who you are.
Thanks for being here. Let’s begin.
Part 1: How I Found Yoga—And How It Found Me is up next.
