Part 4: Who I Work With (And Why Private Yoga Makes All the Difference)
When people hear “private yoga,” they often picture luxury or exclusivity. But to me, it’s something much simpler and more powerful: personalization.
It’s yoga built entirely around you. Your body. Your needs. Your goals. Your schedule.
Most of my clients aren’t lifelong yogis or ultra-spiritual seekers. They’re busy, thoughtful, capable people juggling a lot—and they want to feel better in their bodies and more grounded in their lives. That’s it.
And that’s more than enough.
Why Private Yoga?
Private yoga gives us the freedom to work in a way that’s efficient, smart, and sustainable.
Every session is intentionally designed not only with your body in mind, but also your energy, your stress levels, your recovery needs, and the demands of your week. That means sometimes we push, sometimes we restore, and sometimes we simply make space to breathe.
I draw from a wide range of tools beyond traditional yoga postures—think myofascial release, Pilates, strength training, balance work, and nervous system regulation techniques—so each class is uniquely supportive and deeply effective.
This isn’t yoga just for the sake of yoga. This is yoga in service of you.
Who Benefits Most?
The people I work with often fall into a few common categories:
Busy professionals who want movement and mindfulness without adding another commute or group class into their already-packed days.
People with injuries, pain, or post-surgical limitations who are looking for movement that meets them where they are—and helps them move forward.
Beginners who want to build confidence and understanding before stepping into a studio (or skipping it altogether).
Parents, caregivers, and high-achievers who are used to taking care of everything and everyone—and are finally ready to reclaim time and space for themselves.
Most of my clients don’t care if they can do a handstand. They care if they can carry groceries without shoulder pain. Or sleep without waking up anxious. Or to continue to doing the things they love, with less discomfort and more ease.
The Challenges I Help With
Here are just a few of the real-life things my clients come to me for:
Aches and pains that have lingered for years
Difficulty unwinding at the end of the day, falling asleep or staying asleep
Feeling disconnected from their body after an injury, illness, or birth
A desire to improve balance, strength, or flexibility without hurting themselves or being made to feel like they don’t know what they are doing
A need for space—physically and emotionally—in a life that feels constantly “on”
We’re not trying to be perfect. We’re trying to feel better. To live better. To be more present and less reactive. And private yoga creates the space to do exactly that.
