Kelsey Konsen

CYO - Chief Yoga Operator

200 HR E-RYT, RPYT

Kelsey is a creative, joyfully sarcastic, fiery lover of yoga. She completed her 200hr RYT at Joy Yoga Center in Houston, TX. She has a passion for the philosophical traditions behind yoga as well as for the physical practice of yoga. She sees the philosophy as a grounding force in her teaching and in her own practice and is able to weave the two together into a well-integrated practice. In addition to yogic philosophy, she sees approachability and accessibility as paramount to her class offerings. By focusing on these principles, she is able to craft classes that are truly accessible for all-levels of experience.

As founder and Chief Yoga Operator of Yoga Balance, inc., Kelsey is driven to bring yoga to the masses. Her intensity, compassion and community building skills draw students to her and allow them to trust what she is offering. She is excited to bring her skills and passion to both your living room and to your workplace.

In addition to her 200hr RYT, Kelsey is also an 85hr RPYT (certified prenatal yoga teacher), postnatal, Yoga for Athletes and yin certified yoga teacher. Her passion for learning and growing fuel her tendency toward building a yoga teaching toolbox full of tools that aid her in tailoring practices that perfectly fit the needs of anyone's body. Whether the student is expecting, new to parenthood, new to yoga or are an experienced practitioner, the program she tailors will be a perfect fit.

Anne Clinger

Yoga Instructor

200HR RYT, RPYT

Anne is a calming, refreshing, and dedicated practitioner and teacher of yoga. She completed her 200hr RYT at The Studio BE in Houston, TX. As a dancer from a young age, Anne sought yoga as an outlet for movement after graduating from college. She fell in love with the mind body connection yoga teaches and loves experiencing the grounding nature of her faith coupled with the creative movement of yoga. Anne is enthusiastic about building sequences that are accessible to all types of bodies and experience levels so that everyone feels successful in their practice!

In addition to her 200hr training, Anne is an 85hr RPYT, certified to teach prenatal yoga. She fell in love with teaching prenatal yoga while she was pregnant with her second baby. She is passionate about modifying yoga to the pregnant body to empower women to feel their best during pregnancy.

In her free time, you can find Anne loving on her husband and two kids and spending time outdoors.

Brittany Pires

Yoga Instructor

200HR E-RYT, RPYT

Brittany is a driven, professional and highly educated yoga instructor. She sees yoga as a balancing act - a pendulum of energy that swings from creating tension to actively releasing it and as a practice of finding ease in things that are not always easy.

Her 8 years of teaching and extensive yoga education include certifications in restorative, prenatal, yin, acro yoga, and therapeutic yoga and massage. Having experienced various injuries to her body, she has a deep interest and expertise in injury prevention, rehabilitation and recovery - a method she uses to plan and guide her classes. She is currently studying to become a physical therapist assistant in order to continue to grow her skill set and knowledge base to help more people.

In her classes, she makes it a priority to create a supportive and comforting space for her students to explore their practice with compassion and acceptance. She offers a well-rounded practice using internal heat and awareness to create a physical balance between strength and mobility. My teaching methodology is rooted in using strength and personal exploration to keep the body functioning at top performance.
